Hugh Jackman’s tribulation with new title
George Clooney has been named “Sexiest Man Alive” , twice, first in 2006, then 2007. This year that title attached to Hugh Jackman, star of new film“Australia”. He told the mag that Clooney made joke about this calling him late at night and saying: “Shut up, Jackman!“
Jackman told the press what happened: “George Clooney rang me at two in the morning! I was half asleep and I said to him, ‘Ah, George sweetie, good to hear from you.’ He goes, ‘Shut up, Jackman!”
New sexiest man alive continued: ”He said, ‘I know what you did! You started this big campaign that’s been going on and you took the title away from me!”
Hugh said that this title is a a little bit strange for people in his environment. He explained: “My old man traveled over with me and we landed in America … and all of sudden we were stopped at the airport and saw the Sexiest Man Alive magazine and everyone is talking about it! My father found it really uncomfortable! My dad said to me, ‘I can’t really talk to you about being sexy. It’s a little weird…Mind you, I’m still waiting for the birds and the bees pitch from him. That hasn’t happened either!”

According to the mag „People“,Hugh Jackman , Australian actor is “The Sexiest Man Alive”.Hugh, who has great sense of humor joked about this information. To eliminate every possible doubts Hugh does this when he gets a good-looking partner for the movie: “The first thing I always do in a movie is go to dinner with my leading lady and my wife! When they meet Deb they like her more than me anyway!”
Seem like Deb likes the fact that her husband is an actor: “She loves the idea of me coming home in costume because it makes her feel like she’s having an affair in a good way. When we met, I was cast as a prisoner with tattoos and she’d say, “Don’t take your tattoos off tonight!”… But what works best with her is the stockbroker.
